Not for sensitive readers. But outstanding. The author lost a prize for this book after saying 'she doesn't like black people' in an interview. Does this take away from a superb book and should she have lost the prize as a result of this comment?

TESOL/ESL departments should have this

I have zero affiliation with the author and can say from a neutral standpoint that this book is truly brilliant.

I NEEDED this when I was teaching classes of 70+ back in Japan, and found that a lot of the organizational tactics of how to develop ideas were highly valuable. Later, more recently I can across Differentiate Instruction and to be very fair I feel Hess is presenting a lot of DI within the activities that allow us to cater to a lot of students at one time - with the same target language but acknowledging the fact that each student will have a different baseline proficiency. Hess does not get too deep into this - but gets into activities that simply work.

A language school and colleges with TESOL/ESL departments should have this, especially ones where large communicative lessons are the "institutes" goal.

Great Book for Mulitlevel Class Ideas and Tips

I really enjoyed browsing this book and will take many ideas from it. I've already use a couple of the ideas, and they were a great success.
It's not all just games and such either. there are suggestions for making learning stations that aren't teacher dependent, and suggestions on how to get the students involved in their own learning responsibilities.

I'm glad I got this book!

Tried and True!!

This book is tried and true!! The author, Natalie Hess, was my Master's degree advisor, so I had quite a few classes with her. She used EVERY ONE of the ideas in this book with our classes, and in turn, I've used them with mine in the States. Now I'm teaching English in Iraq, and the same techniques STILL work!! Whether you teach ESL, ESOL, EFL, or ANY class, these ideas will work for you!!! Thanks Natalie!!

Yay, Springtrap, but poor use of grammar, spelling, tense, etc. make it a poor read

Pro: This is from Springtrap's perspective and has an interesting take on that character in the whole story of FNAF.

Con: Well... This was for my daughter because she is a huge fan of the franchise but I must say that I am disappointed in the grammar and spelling displayed here. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because I absolutely could not tell whether the jumping between past/present tense, first person vs. third person, and the normal paragraph styling vs. script stylized writing was done on purpose or just fit whatever whim the author had. I cannot excuse the lack of proof-reading. Odd sentences, improper grammar, and actual typos are all throughout and I was severely disappointed. My daughter is supposed to read every day for school. I was hoping that this would be a good read for her but do I really want her learning words and sentence structure that aren't accurate? No. The big clincher was the use of cursing. Definitely not for kids. Definitely not recommended for anyone.

I would love to be a proof-reader for the company, or even the individual in charge of "Two Sovereigns Publishing" but I found no website or email with which to contact them.

Extremely well written book.

Extremely well written book. If you are interested in the Five Nights at Freddy’s you must read this book. It has satisfying ending and doesn’t leave you hanging. I read it all in one day! It's a great horror read that kept me wanting to know what happens next. I would definitely recommend this book to any FNAF fans and fans of horror in general.

There is no slow moment in this story. I was immediately drawn in by the author's vivid descriptions and strategic placement of suspense. He seamlessly weaves in a commentary on human nature and the human soul, with a captivating story line. Would highly recommend to any fnaf fans out there.

Elwood McQuaid is a well-known author and expert on Israel and the Middle East. He is a former executive director of The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, Inc., and former editor-in-chief of its award-winning magazine, Israel My Glory. A nationally acclaimed broadcaster, he was heard around the world as the voice of Friends of Israel radio for almost 20 years. He is currently consulting editor for Israel My Glory, where his articles appear regularly, and is a frequent contributor to The Jerusalem Post.

Faith & Courage

This book is well written from beginning to end. This should be read by everyone young and old to understand what took place during World War II, in eastern Europe. The book tells Halina's story from her childhood to her older years. The atrocities committed by the Nazis are disturbing to read, but need to be known.The story goes into detail how Halina helped and saved as many Jewish people as she possibly could. Many pictures are also included in the book of Halina and of the war era.

Another testimony for the truth about the Nazi persecution during WWII

Another good book about the Nazi persecution in Poland during WWII. This book follows the life of Halina Ostik, a survivor. Mrs. Ostik was not a Jew, but she supported the Jews in the ghetto in Warsaw during WWII and later in Argentina and then back in Poland in her last years as an employee of Friends of Israel. The book is a bit choppy at times (jumping around from topic to topic), but it is still well worth reading the first person account quotes of someone who lived through those most difficult times. I also recommend (even more so) the book "Zvi" by this same author. It is a book that you won't be able to put down.

McQuaid did a very good job telling Halina's story! It's always difficult to read about the horrors of the Holocaust, but we need to constantly remind ourselves of what these people went through. I was not aware of all that Poland endured and this was quite an eye-opener....Halina's was surely a hero and her God and her faith gave her the courage to do what she did.

DO NOT BUY THE KINDLE VERSION OF THIS BOOK

This is a great book.
This though, is a rating for the kindle version which is awful.
The book is a historical novel with several locations, battles and strategical army moves in the middle east.
This casts the use of the three maps at the begging of the book ESSENTIAL, (unless of course you are a frank crusader or an Arab Mameluke of the 12th century).

The book has been converted into the kindle version in a sloppy and unprofessional manner. The maps are scanned in low resolution which makes then UNREADABLE both in standard view and zoom.
Buy the paper version, or try an e-book version checking that the maps are readable.
Stay away from this kindle version.

"Content reports" reporting the matter directly from the menus of the kindle device, have not been noted or answered.
Very bad impression from kindle, kindle support, and -this particular- kindle book.

Gripping Read

An excellent novel with rip-roaring action and lots of passion and love to boot. Can't wait for the next book in the series. Up there with Bernard Cornwell, Michael Arnold , S.J. Parris and C.J. Sansom. A Gripping Read !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A worthy successor to Hight's first Saladin tale

Second his Saladin series, Kingdom is another great read, mixing historical events with very personal stories, providing context to an important part of history. Read the trilogy. You will not regret it.
